Kremlin: Putin, Saudi prince discuss oil market situation

MOSCOW, Jul 21 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud have held a phone conversation devoted to the global oil market situation, the Kremlin said on Thursday.

"Both sides have given a positive assessment of the level of friendly relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia,” the Kremlin said.

“Urgent issues of bilateral cooperation with a focus on extension of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations were discussed. The current oil market situation was considered in detail."

The officials emphasized the necessity to continue the OPEC plus cooperation.
